A-Trust Signatur 5.1.5.0 APK requires following permissions:

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

1 ★ I hate to leave a lone-star review, but as most people have said, this app is awful. Over-engineered, over-complicated. The only thing it's meant to do is verification, and it can't even do that. It's incredibly slow, even on a fast phone. And when you do finally get the app to work (and this might be multiple attempts and about 20 minutes), the corresponding web pages rarely work. I am now stuck in an infinite loop of entering my (correct!) social insurance number and tax number trying to link my Handy-Bürgerkarte to my Finanzamtonline (HOW ARE THEY NOT AUTOMATICALLY LINKED ANYWAY???). A-Trust, if you're reading this, find someone else to design you the app. There are so many apps out there which are even more secure but actually work - and they work instantly, every time. Find the people who made the Revolut app and hire them instead. If anything is unclear, feel free to contact me (after all, you have all of my data...)

2 ★ too complex and complicated,cannot see how some kess tech minded people use this on daily basis.needs to get more user friendly.

3 ★ Does what it's supposed to do but nothing more. Doesn't even have any notifications when your certificate is about to run out. But hey it's fine, at least you can read about it in the FAQ and you will be happy to see that you have to do a full re-registration in case you haven't logged in at least once during the 30 days before the certificate runs out... Will adjust rating to 4* when this is fixed.

1 ★ The app keeps breaking randomly, telling me to reset the app, then working again after a restart.

1 ★ Update: After years still not working. Trying to login after not using it for half a year.. no chance. No errors, just nothing. First Review: Worked exactly 1 time. Weeks later password not working, lock after I think 3rd try. Regain password not possible. They send you a letter like the good old days. Code in the letter is invalid again.. I am working in IT for 30 years and cannot imagine how my grand parents could handle this system, even if it would work

4 ★ Across serveral devices and over many years, the app has never let me down and was always super fast with its notifications and very reliable. I see some room for improvement on the UX side though, especially with users who don't have a technical background.

1 ★ Worked ok so far but now they want either a pin or biometric unlock, pattern is not checked and reports as unsecured device. For me that kind of sloppy coding is a red flag for any security relevant app.

1 ★ Fist the login failed telling me I have a wrong pin. After I installed the newest version of the app and tried to connect it again, it says I am still missing a "security update". What is it? No information online, as a respond to my request the support team copy pasted the same useless message about the security update. I have already installed the newest version, why can't anyone send me a proper information? I guess login with tan now...

1 ★ User experience problem: Signature failed without telling me why. Password wrong? Fingerprint not detected? Had to retry 10 times, in the end it seemed to be the fingerprint. An actual error message what went wrong would be nice

5 ★ Works pretty much every time I use it, very good programming :) UI/UX also very good. A little weird that I have to delete app data and reconfigure it when I remove/add a fingerprint.

3 ★ The app doesn't offer to exclude itself from the battery optimisation, so at some point you stop receiving push notifications because the app has been put asleep. The fingerprint signing option is nice but signing with custom PIN is missing. It can happen that the fingerprint sensor doesn't work (e.g. dirt on it or other temporary problems) and here where the PIN alternative becomes useful!

1 ★ Please tell me how to change my name in the app! Information online just like your support could not answer this easy question for us. Your paid (!!) phone support is rude. My wife is struggling with this, and it would be very important for her to get an updated signature after being married. We requested a reactivation through Finanzamt online, but A-Trust sent another activation code after 1.5 weeks for the same old name, although it's been updated in Finanzonline months ago. PLEASE HELP!!

5 ★ Works perfectly and does the job, in comparison to "digitales amt"

1 ★ My phone can only be updated to android 9 and the app requires android 10. I literally can't access my account, documents,... I got locked out because I have an oldish phone. S8+ is not so old as to justify this. How can I access my documents now???

2 ★ Fail to inform that certificate expires. No link to reactivation site. When one gives in the site (mentioned in app) manually address changes (and McAfee comes up with a warning) in the address bar just not on for this kind of app.
