Description

Calculator developed to calculate the Area Control Error (ACE) within a balancing authority. Although results are believed to be accurate, this tool is for training purposes only. Not to be used to calculate ACE in real time conditions. Can be used to compare your answers when solving the ACE equation by hand. The application is ad free and requires no special permissions.

NIA is Net Interchange, Actual
NIS is Net Interchange, Scheduled
B is Balancing Authority Bias
FA is Frequency, Actual
FS is Frequency, Scheduled
IME is Interchange (tie line) Metering Error
