Download the latest MyFriend-GPT application, version 1.0, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Productivity app is developed by TM Software, Inc. and is easy to download and install.

Description
Initial Setup
You need an OpenAI API key to use it. As of July 2023, you can get a free $5 credit valid for three months, so please access the OpenAI API page and issue your API key. If you google 'OpenAI API Key', you will find many sites explaining the detailed steps, so please refer to them. When you launch the app, a settings screen will be displayed, so copy and paste the OpenAI API key you have obtained into the OpenAI API key field and click the 'Save & Return’ button at the bottom of the screen. Then the main screen will be displayed. This completes the initial setup.
How to Use
1. From the main screen, click the 'Speak' button at the bottom of the screen and speak into your smartphone's microphone. The voice recognition results will be displayed at the top of the screen, so if you want to re-enter, click the X in the upper right corner of the screen to redo it. You can also make partial corrections using the keyboard.
2. If you are satisfied with the voice recognition results, click the 'GPT Send' button. After a while, the response from GPT will be displayed on the screen, and your smartphone will read it out.
3. If you want to continue the conversation, click the 'Speak' button and speak into your smartphone's microphone. If you are satisfied with the new voice recognition results displayed at the top of the screen, click the 'GPT Send' button. GPT will understand the flow of the conversation and respond.
4. When you want to end the conversation, click the 'Clear' button.
5. GPT may give a strange response, so there may be times when you want to check if the response is true. In such cases, click the 'Google' button to launch the browser and Google search with the string displayed at the top of the screen.
6. Clicking the 'Settings' button will display the settings screen.
Settings
1. You can choose English or 日本語 for screen display and voice input/output languages. You can also turn off voice output.
2. Currently, you can only choose gpt-3.5-turbo for the GPT model. Future versions are expected to support gpt-4.
3. Clicking 'Save & Return' saves the changes and returns to the main screen.
4. Clicking 'Return' discards the changes and returns to the main screen.
5. Clicking 'Reset to Default' will immediately remove the OpenAI API key from the app and return other parameters to their default values.
