This 5.8 km. long walk around the Utrecht cathedral is so much more than just a walk around the cathedral and even quite varied: from the Roman Castellum Traiectum (50 years AD.) until the redevelopment of the shopping mall Hoog Catharijne (2030). The route is located within the former moat of the historic center of Utrecht. This tour introduces you to the rich history of Utrecht and you will discover much more than just the famous landmarks and tourist attractions.


This smartphone city walk is available in English and Dutch.


Although you can start this walk through Utrecht at any point, in the app you can choose a number of predefined entry points. One of the entry points is at Vredenburg square, near the central railway station (http://www.WalktheCity.eu/Around-Utrecht-Cathedral/CS).
