Description
CPAM offers programming focused on the needs of the Francophone ethnocultural communities of Haitian origin, Latin American and African Metropolitan Montreal.
The program targets these three cultural groups in the following proportions: Haitians (50%), Latinos (35%) and Africans with French as their first or second language (15%).
Most ethnocultural communities in Quebec are established in the immediate area of the metropolitan area of Montreal. These communities represent nearly half of the population are however served by two commercial radio stations including Radio CPAM Union.com.
It goes without saying that the fact of being the only French-language ethnic radio in North America contributes greatly to the success of CPAM. Indeed, in record time, radio is entering the viewing habits of native Quebec because of its varied and different musical programming of commercial radio.
