Download the latest GrowthPlot application, version 2.5.1, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Health & Fitness app is developed by Daniel L. Metzger, MD and is easy to download and install.

Description

The GrowthPlot app plots length, weight, head circumference and weight-for-length for children (0–24 months of age for WHO, 0–36 months for CDC); and it plots height, weight and body-mass index for children (2–19 years of age for WHO, 2–20 years for CDC). Plots for WHO are made using the WHO Growth Charts for Canada, March 2014 revision; these data and graphs are available at <whogrowthcharts.ca>. Plots for CDC are made using the 2000 CDC Growth Charts; these data are available at <cdc.gov/growthcharts>. You can save WHO and CDC growth charts generated by this app to your device for later use, and you can also share these growth charts as PNG image files via e-mail or text, suitable for use in publications or presentations.

On this screen, you choose between starting with a blank WHO or CDC chart (specifying the age and sex of the child whose measurements are to be plotted) or using a previously saved chart.

You can also plot selected growth parameters (length/height, weight, body-mass index and head circumference) for children with a number of syndromes (Turner, Down, Noonan, Prader–Willi and Russell–Silver) using the QuickChart API, which results in a link which allows you to save or share the chart image. Citations are provided for each reference range used for these calculations.

2 ★ Freezes on start up. Says that it is resetting the graph ratio. Very annoying. Would be a useful app otherwise.

1 ★ Doesn't load

1 ★ There are multiple bad string errors showing up. The most specific I saw was with the age in months (in my baby's case 5.7). Please review, as this does not seem fixed.

3 ★ I can't get the app to work, but I've received a quick reply, and hopefully this can be fixed. So nice to see a developer who really wants to see what is going on and make sure that it works. Thanks!
