Description

Cetoacidosis es una aplicación sobre el tratamiento de pacientes con cetoacidosis diabética y sindrome hiperosomolar en urgencias. Incluye un calculador de las principales fórmulas utilizadas en estas situaciones (osmolalidad efectiva, anion GAP y corrección de sodio según glucemia). También se muestran gráficos de diagnóstico diferencial, los pasos y peticiones que hay que hacer según el tiempo transcurrido. Finalmente se menciona de forma gráfica el tratamiento de insulina, fluidos intravenosos, pauta de potasio y bicarbonato. Todas estas recomendaciones están basadas en la ultima actualización de la Asociación Americana de Diabetes.

Ketoacidosis is a medical application about Hyperglycemic crises in adult patients with Diabetes, in the emergency room. Includes a calculator of the main formulas used in these situations (effective osmolality, anion GAP and sodium corrected). Also it shows charts of the differential diagnosis, steps and requests to do according to time. Finally, you will see charts with the treatment using insulin, intravenous fluids, potassium and bicarbonate (the last ADA recommendations).
