Description
This app allows you to identify your allergens in products by scanning their barcode. You can create personalized plans to accommodate various food allergies, as well as other food-related limitations, such as Celiac Disease and Lactose Intolerance. Scan the barcode of a product, and the Food Allergy Scanner will help you determine whether it fits within your food limitations.
By scanning the barcodes of products in grocery stores, you can access relevant information about what you can and cannot eat.
With the Food Allergy Scanner, you can:
- Identify your allergens
- Scan the barcodes of products
- Receive relevant information about what you can and cannot eat
- Easily accommodate for your food allergies and/or food-related limitations
Information is available on over 800,000 products, including almost 200,000 US products. We use ingredients published by the non-profit organization Open Food Facts available under the Open Database License and Database Contents License

5 ★ Really helpful app, I'm new to the whole allergy scene I got this app because my girlfriends allergic to treenuts and we had a scare recently. We tried it out going around a supermarket, it's made me a lot less scared about what im eating.
3 ★ Like it so far, but there are quite a few products that don't show up yet.
1 ★ Doesn't work at all. Nothing I scanned came up.
2 ★ It is not as accurate as we test in hospital so I uninstalled it

1 ★ Information wrong!!! Will delete app!! This app stated allergy was present (tree nut). No tree nuts are even in this facility!!! We have eaten this food for several years. I talked personally to the manager of the whole plant ... this app is doing this company an injustice!!!
1 ★ Really disappointed. I have an allergy to corn. To test I scanned tostitos and it said product not found.
1 ★ i put in the allergens, and to test it i scanned peanut butter product it said she can have it. this is dangerous.
