How the App Works
📞 Identify unknown caller immediately (Caller ID)
Decide which calls you are going to answer! Spam call, scammers or annoying calls from call centres are immediately detected with the tellows app. Incoming calls are displayed with a score from 1 (trustworthy) to 9 (not trustworthy) on the screen of your mobile phone. Besides rating, you can also recognize the name of the caller, the caller type and from where it calls
🔎 Number lookup and info of unknown caller
Thanks to the huge tellows community, you will be able to find thousands of spam numbers and details to identify them. Our database is updated constantly, no more trouble from scammers or telephone advertisements!

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an application to read the user's call log.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.
Allows an application to write the user's contacts data.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

5 ★ Great App. Ads are annoying, but premium price is reasonable. Love seeing the tellows score before receiving the call. Love being able to individually rate and score numbers based on my own tolerance level. Very useful. Definitely recommend.
2 ★ It worked with a reduced sets of permissions until the last update. No way I am willing to share my contact list.
1 ★ Call came in just now... Tellows did nothing. No popup. No information. Nothing. Had this app installed, set up and logged in for a week (yes it has all permissions granted that it asked for, and there was a strong & working Internet connection with the call came in). Whilst the idea seems sound, the app seems pretty useless to me.
5 ★ This app as shown me more times than not who is calling. Those that think it's no good is because you have not given it the chance to prove itself The more people use this app the better. Be patient and you will see. Well done too tellows. Fantastic service well done.
2 ★ Pretty pointless, with basic bugs (+49123 and 0123 are categorized as two numbers). Moreover, it took me some time to realize the rating is reversed. Bad calls have a higher rating!
1 ★ Useless = uninstall The app doesn't have caller info. It seems to just collect info from users. The app requests suspicious permissions to allow 'functions' your phone already has.
1 ★ SUCKS! Emergency services doesn't have to do searches in order to ID phone numbers!! That info is supposed to be displayed automatically!!!
5 ★ This app helps me identify those telemarketer and the good part is you can participate in providing those kind of information, so the database is always grow and expanding
1 ★ Expected some sort of blacklist access. there isn't any. the app tries to crowdsource information about numbers. Legitimate numbers info is limited to area code designation. The app is a vehicle for aggressive advertising. Beware.
2 ★ Very half hearted app, doesn't show caller info when calls come in, doesn't show ratings or actually stop calls or block calls
