Description
GetAssist connects people online for both business and personal purposes using well known Social features. This degree of services aggregation and online community will make GetAssist one of the first, if not the first to use Social Media Purposefully.

Two Communities, One Network, Well Known Social Features.
The GetAssist Social Community is Ad free Social Media utilizing a feature unique to GetAssist called a “Social Community.” Users create, or, join, Social Communities to connect with other like-minded people based on their interests and location like, family, friends, teams and associations, work groups and special interest groups.
Social Community Attributes:
-3 Pillars – “What’s New,” “Bulletin Board,” and “Discussions.”
-Private or Public – Private means Private, Invitation only.
-Administrative Controls – Archive, Delete, Transfer Communities.
-Managed Membership – Add, Delete and block members.
-Content management – Add, delete and filter Posts, Comments etc.
-Unlimited Community Creation – Temporary and Permanent Uses.
GetAssist Social Communities are a great way to engage with, or organize, any group of people for any purpose, in private or public. Isn’t it time you were able to share your private photos, information and advice with others. Things you wouldn’t post on Facebook or other public social forums? You can in a GetAssist Private Social Community and all members of that community will see it on their grapevine in real time.
The GetAssist Business Community is an Ad free Business Network is for individuals and businesses who want to make themselves available to others and want to receive targeted requests for their services from the GetAssist Social Community. 1 ★ terrible. Slow for business. few contacts. This app is a real joke. Every day I get more angry because I fell for their lying proposal. And now I just wanted to get my money back because it doesn't work.
2 ★ As a business owner moving to a new area I was excited for this app to help re-establish myself in a new area. I've been on it for 7 months and although I recieve lots of leads most of the time the app won't load so I can't get on to respond to messages or if I click on a lead then I have to pay for that lead after paying $400 initially to register. It was never mentioned in my multiple phone calls with customer service that I'd have to pay extra fees for the leads. The app is not user friendly.
5 ★ This network has assisted me many times for home and yard renovations and my business. You cannot go wrong with this company. If you have any trouble just contact support! They are very quick and well mannered! You can do so much with Get Assist, but you have to learn it like any other program. Try it you will love it.
5 ★ I originally found out about Get Assist through a friend of mine whom works for the company. I hopped on it seeing as its free, and then it hit me. I could use the request feature for anything, so I put it to the test. I requested a roofer for my moms garage, within 2 days I had Euphoric Exteriors there and completed the garage roof. Euphoric was great and pleasant to deal with and Get Assist truly helped us get someone in. This app is great, I recommend everyone use it at least once!
5 ★ GetAssist is an amazing app. I regularly use it to check in with my local community. Amazingly fast results on requests.
1 ★ This was a huge waste of $300. I only got 9 service requests over the course of the year... not one of them was a qualified service request... especially when 2 or 3 of them out of the 9 were requests made by the representative that sold this supposedly amazing app... which I can vouch is NOT a great app to bring clients to us as small businesses. You should be ashamed of yourself for taking money without providing the services that we are paying for
1 ★ Tried it out and its definitely a nice idea but the app needs a ton of work. Not very user friendly. While I did infact find a contractor I liked and plan to use in the future, I spent more time outside of the app researching/vetting the few responses I received. If it was not for the great efforts by the brand ambassador I spoke with, I dont think I would have figured out how to submit a request correctly or even want to meet with a contractor who responded to my request.
5 ★ Get Assist is a great network! It connects you with your families and also to grow your business. The customer service is absolutely wonderful! They helped me start up my account and I've been receiving leads quite often. Cool tools to get you going also. Don't hesitate to try!
1 ★ Absolutely useless for my profession (real estate photography). 3 months in and not a sniff of a lead, despite being assured otherwise. I was sold snake oil, but I blame myself for not doing more research. Also, the app is not very intuitive, but then that could just be because I'm bitter about being milked for $400. Needless to say, I won't be renewing.
5 ★ Love the app, I use it for all kinds of things. Finding people to help me with landscaping tasks, getting someone to help me take some trash to the dump, all kinds of things. Our neighborhood tends to stay active within it.
1 ★ I would give zero stars if possible. Do not work with this company! In order to see the terms and conditions you first must give them your money including debit/credit card account information. Terms state clearly that refunds are not given under any circumstances. In one year they automatically renew the fees without notice. Favorable reviews on the play store app are made by the sales team members. Check the Better Business Bureau; most of the 35 complaints are ANSWERED not resolved.
5 ★ I used Get Assist for the first time today. I was able to contact an hvac contractor that was on their list. He happened to be close by and within an hour was able to fix my problem with the unit. I am very satisfied with prompt service and cost . Will be using them again.
1 ★ SCAM! Neat business structure, Utterly useless support staff. I'm only trying to cancel because I dont have the time to take on any more jobs! Wouldn't be so bad if the leads worked I'm on the monthly subscription because I were explicitly assured that I cancel at any point. Several emails back and forth trying to cancel the plan, all they've done is turn off auto renewal at the end of the 12 months. no explanation on why they cant cancel it outright, just a run around DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS!
5 ★ Get assist has been very useful for me and my small business. Was able to grab a few jobs through their social media app. It's kind of like a suggestion thing, where people can suggest businesses and such. Really neat and good to have on the side! Thanks Get Assist team for helping me out also!
