Description
● The Citizen Congress app lets our verified users securely transmit their views to a user’s Congressional Member and/or Senator(s). No tedious phone calls, or blocky email forms for interns and staff assistants to answer, decipher, log, and lose - just a thumb on an app and Members understand their constituents’ views.
How to use it?
● Download the Citizen Congress app from the app store to your smartphone. Enter your personal information, including your home address, and become a verified user.
Who should use it?
● Anyone (18 or older) interested in expressing an opinion about federal legislation
● Anyone who wants to communicate with the Member of Congress and Senators who represents them from their state or district in Washington, DC.
What is a verified user?
● A verified user is a person who is 18 years of age or older and lives in the district or state of the Member of Congress or Senator.
● Why is it important to be a verified user? As a verified user, your elected official knows that you live in the state or district they represent.
Why?
● It's easy! Use the Vote of the Day to express your opinion on important issues your Representative or Senator wants to hear from you about each day.
● No busy phone lines or lost email. Use the app and don’t worry about trying to get through to a busy office staff.
● Ensure your opinion counts. As a verified user, your elected official knows that you are a resident in the state or district they represent.

● Use the Vote of the Day to express your opinion on hot topics which are being considered by the House and Senate.
● Earn awards when you vote every day!
About the Vote of the Day
● Vote “Yes” or “No” on questions that describe legislation that has been introduced and is being considered by the House and Senate.
● Click on a link provided on the Vote of the Day page to learn more about the legislation.

● Citizen Congress uses email encryption to ensure the safety and security of your data and maintain your privacy.
Citizen Congress is a registered LLC in the State of Virginia, and is not a government organization.
