ClipDrop - Product photos without a photo studio 3.3.13 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ Force to create an account just to evaluate this app is clearly a mean data collection policy. Result: Uninstall.

3 ★ Great idea, but still a lot of bugs when dropping the item directly to photoshop. Pricing model seems wrong for what the app offers. It is a novelty AI app that is definitely fun to play with, but not something you would want to subscribe to. There are more professional ways of capturing objects, including native Adobe apps that are free to use.

1 ★ Installed the app a few days ago but had no chance to test it out until today, unfortunately, I've found only annoyances: the first one is, you are forced to create an account in order to use the app giving you the common alternatives, either login with a Google, e-mail or Facebook accounts. Then, once I get into the viewfinder, it gives me a distorted and stretched image, so, whatever object I point my camera to, the object appears completely stretched at an abnormal proportion... and finally, if I tap on the "Clip" button in order to take a picture, the only thing I would get is an error message. Worst of all, you are not allowed to use the app more than 10 times, after that, you will be asked to pay an overpriced subscription that just makes no sense at all considering the other alternatives with the same image quality even when those are either free, or with a one time purchase fee that is less than a 10th fraction of the yearly fee for this app.

5 ★ Amazing app! I use it everyday and I love it.

3 ★ Great app that does one simple job in the quickest way so far. The biggest flow, that ultimately made me uninstall it, it's the subscription as the only way to have full access to the app: £34 a year it's a sci-fi price, even for the most dedicated professionist. Other apps are far cheaper and they are competing with Photoshop functions-wise. Come on guys 😅

3 ★ Bottomline: Cool tech but way too expensive. Ad support or/and pay-per-use or 'packs of 20' etc are preffered options than having to cough up a subscription amount equivalent to Netflix or Amazon Prime (especially here in UK in GBP). App performance + UI still unpolished (eg: I'd recommend a dedicated on screen shutter button than registering any screen touch as a trigger to click a pic).
