B4A-Bridge was written in B4A. The source code is available in the forum.
B4A-Bridge includes an internal FTP server. You can use it to browse the secondary storage (File.DirRootExternal) with a FTP client or Windows Explorer.
App permissions
B4A-Bridge 2.67 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to enter Wi-Fi Multicast mode.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

5 ★ Works great, only slight niggle is sometimes it doesn't display the request permissions dialog for permissions your app needs so you have to do it manually from the phones settings. Great coding language that is now free. Highly recommended.
