App permissions

All Call Recorder 1.57.2 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ Worked on my old phone. On this new phone it logs that got a vall but doesnt record. Too bad i really need this pn my phone. Guess ill uninstall it and find that works

5 ★ This was the best recorder period. That is until as i understand Google started restricting their creativity as I was told.

3 ★ I've been using this for quite a while, and found it satisfactory within the limits of what the phone's OS permits - which is to say, most of the time just recording my own side of a conversation. However for the last 3½ months (since approximately 21 Sep 2019) all my recordings have been silent. The right duration, but no sound at all, not even myself, nor even any white noise. I'm using a Pixel-1 XL, and I'm on the advanced release cycle for updates, in case there was something in the "October" release that broke it. If there's any setting I can change to fix this, or if I can help by providing any other intormation, please let me know.

1 ★ Very minimal settings in the app. No cloud support, not sure where the file is saved on the phone. No mention of whether it will support whatsapp call recording or not. Improve them, till then 1 rating.

1 ★ Very useless to me!! After making call, I heard no sound while playing the recording

5 ★ Works well on my Android Note 8. The critical reviews I've seen are based on industry and legal changes of the past 6 months, beyond the control of any application. For example, I don't use a Motorola phone because the hardware will not allow for recording the other party. Also, the name of the other party does not show up on the call log due to changes in privacy standards, not because the app has a bug.

4 ★ It is a great app. I have used it for five years on different phones, however, not all phones will alliw you to record a the other person. You will not kniw it will record until it is installed on your phone. My recording are now in music file. My new recordings dounds like someone talking underwater. I do really like this app.. i can file, email and save all calls. It helped me clear a court case. I love it.

2 ★ Appeared to work perfectly but all the recorded files have no sound.

3 ★ This used to work very well and then Android changed their OS to not allow two way call recording "for privacy purposes" and now the app works sometimes and not others or the recording will be faint (especially the volume of other party). It works best when the call is put on speaker. Big thanks to Google for ruining the ability to record important phone calls!

1 ★ This app does nothing at all. Absolutely nothing. Most of the time the advertisement covers the content, we get that it's free and it needs monetization but even though the ads are too much to handle for God's sake! If the app served my purpose, then I would have excused that. It doesn't even record normal phone calls let alone messenger or whatsapp calls. I would have rated it 0 stars if I could do so. Never going to install any app from this developer again.It looks more basic than a demo app.

5 ★ Good. Sometimes it doesn't record. For some reason, I can not hear any recorded calls, old or new? Volume is up. It's just not working anymore. Hate to delete because I have very important recorded older calls. Don't know what to do. Can anyone recommend a good 2 way recorder that won't try and take over your phone. I have a galaxy Note 9. Thank you so much

1 ★ It is very lame. Downloaded it and it did nothing. After weeks of installation, I noticed recently that it had recorded some calls, on playback, I could only hear my own voice the other party was not recorded. It doesn't work for Facebook and WhatsApp calls which was why I downloaded it in the first place.

1 ★ What a RIP off (yes, it was a free download, but it was a complete failure that didn't work at all..... wasting my time and subjecting me to ads for which I received nothing in return..... RIPOFF). Seriously though, didn't work. All recordings were just faint, distorted, garbled gibberish - utterly useless.

3 ★ Recording is working but the sound is not working.

1 ★ This app WAS amazing. But now, you can BARELY hear the other person on the other line. So this is kind of pointless. It also doesnot show you their number anymore. And I dont buy that whole "provacy issue". Ppls numbers show up on my phone. this is no diffrent. Sounds like 🐃💩. Uninstallinggggggggggg
