Automaton Locker-Smarter lock 4.00 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.

5 ★ Automaton locker works fine using magnetic sensor with my Huawei Mediapad M5 10 tablet using third-party reboon cover.

4 ★ The app stops after about 2 or 3 weeks

4 ★ There should be setting for -ve magnetic field , i.e. it only locks when magnetic field is more 10 where I needed it to be less than 10, in normal conditions it shows 40+ field, that I will use set unlock threshold. So just add a scaling protocol. Best is to provide a scaling range (min and max threshold each for locking and unlock) . Updated: can you please release an update with above features.
3 ★ I need a locker that locks when the flip cover has been closed for more than 5s (to prevent it locking if I briefly have my hand over it while playing a game) then unlocks instantly when the cover is opened. This app looks nice for what it is but it looks like I need to find another or use Tasker.
4 ★ After trying several other apps, so far this free app works best for my device Nexus 5 . But it still has some issues that must be addressed. Sometimes it has to be restarted because for no apparent reason it would just stop working. Other than that I would have rated it 5 ★.
5 ★ The best app of its kind in playstore. Tried the rest but these similar apps always has some bugs. This one works flawlessly on my phone. You won't even notice that it's activated after sometime. My only advise is not to play with its default settings. I chose other sensors but it cause my screen to timeout almost immediately. Couldn't access the app again to undo my changes. Had to manually remove battery to force a reboot to undo my changes. Be warned! Otherwise the best for me. Thks developer.
5 ★ Been using it for a day, I can say it works perfect. Doesn't get auto killed, auto starts on boot, doesn't kills battery ( I use proximity only) I've tried many but this worked great. Thumbs up. Con: A lot of options are overwhelming for a novice user.
5 ★ This app works great with my Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra. I tried numerous proximity sensor screen on/off apps but they all fell short for various reasons. This one simply does what it's supposed to.... without being overly complicated. Kudos to the devs.
5 ★ Works beautifully on my nexus 4.... The proximity flip cover mode is off the charts... Nothing could be better....a little suggestion here... Give users an option to change voice of the "call out the name on unlock"thing... Not too bad on the battery either... Well done akshay.... Definitely going for full version B-)
3 ★ Was very buggy on my device, a Huawei P10 plus. While it worked as intended it was decent and why I still give it 3/5. Unfortunately was too annoying when the app failed to resume operation after the sensor turned the screen off. Uninstalled.
3 ★ Configuration is not so easy. I had good results on nexus 4 and 5 but doesn't work well on nexus 7 where I had to configure it for using the light sensor instead of proximity.
2 ★ Light sensor not working everytime on dell venue 8 3840 LTE currently on KITKAT. Would b great if developer fix it. Cannot use proximity as it does not have 1.
