App permissions

GTL - Schedule Visits (1 of 2) 1.6.69 APK requires following permissions:

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to record audio.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

1 ★ I can't even get the app to show me the camera button. I called customer support after the first time. Conveniently they close an hour before visitation hours happen so I can't even ask for help if I could. This is my second attempt to contact and it won't get me past the schedule to video anything :-(

1 ★ Awful experience. Can't get this app to work can't get to video chat with my daughter. The IT person hasn't been successful getting this app to work on my android. Don't bother using apple products. I have 5 devices and can't get none of them to work. Awful!

1 ★ I could not access the visit from my android phone. I could not access the visit from the computer either. All i saw was a blank black screen and a countdown timer. No way to get assistance while the visit is in progress. I did a camera check and i can see myself. The speakers work. I thought maybe flash might be the problem but i couldn't figure it out. I asked for a refund. Waiting to see if I get it. My 2nd time loosing money. The 1st time it was not clear to me that i had to log on

5 ★ Its amazing you can connect with your loved ones who are incarcerated however sometimes if you are not in a good service area your messages will erase and you have to re-type them.

3 ★ At the beginning of my visit, the video was not audible, I made some adjustments, then the video appeared with my friend on the other end. Wearing headphones makes it very awkward, but at least this communication is available. Overall the experience was delightful, some glitches.

1 ★ Horrible sound and video quality. When you start a video. It's good but then echos, video lagging, and audio is horrible. It's like a Wally tally. One person talk, then you have to decipher what is being said. Pause. Then the next person talks. Horrible and not worth the money.

1 ★ Password reset. Its not sending an email for me to reset my password. And I've tried to so it multiple times and I've been waiting for the email. Still nothing

2 ★ The only thing this app is good for is to check in, other than that its best to use a laptop. Tablets don't work either, so I'm not sure why they advertise that. The fact that ppl are paying their money to see our loved ones, and this app STILL isn't revamped; says A LOT about the company.

1 ★ I can always hear the other person but the other person cannot hear me when we have video visits. I pay for visits and still have to pay for a phone call because I cannot be heard on the visit. I have tried several headphones, bluetooth devices, and using just my phone.

1 ★ I log in and it shows a blank screen. I clock on upcoming visits, and the help button and it won't open. It logs me out and i have to sign in again and it does the same thing. I deleted the apps and downloaded them again to see if that helps but it didnt.

1 ★ Couldn't see inmate I only could hear. The screen was stuck on the person who comes and tell you rules for the whole visit. Really disappointing due to the fact you pay 4 dollars for this

1 ★ I set an appointment for Monday the 5, RIGHT after my last visit in April. Your app glitched, set it for the 2ND OF May and I had no clue so I missed it! And now you have no contact info. I just want my visit switched Im not even asking for my money back! Just my visit.

4 ★ The app works well. Only issue was the connection from the facility

1 ★ The audio is so bad so much static you cant hear, always cuts in and out they need to fix this or refund our money

3 ★ Horrible connection. Charged me money part of the time and was free the other times. It would be a better app if they didn't condone some of the horrible things these jails and their staff do to those in jail but not even convicted yet. They should investigate those they affiliate with and report bad behavior.
