Description

This free-to-download DRU Control app is stylish and very easy to use. The app can be used to operate 5 fires in your home and define 3 standard and 1 custom flame pictures. You can customise your own flames and choose how much gas you want to use. Should your fire fail to work for any reason, the app will indicate what is wrong with your appliance. In the fire.

3 ★ Na de laatste update werkt de app op Android Nougat. Helaas blijven de mogelijkheden beperkt: geen tijdsplanning mogelijk, werkt enkel op het lokale netwerk, gebruikersinterface is niet erg intuïtief.

1 ★ Bad usability. Couldn't even register.

2 ★ De app is te beperkt voor een normaal gebruik. Nochtans is het niet zo moeilijk om een tijdspanne bij te zetten.

4 ★ A bit cumbersome to initially set up, but works fine in the end. Although it is a limitation of the Honeywell hardware (one of many actually), rather than this app, it would be great if both a standalone remote and this app could be paired and control the fire concurrently (not at the very same time, obviously). Earlier version was restricted to install only to tablet devices, which didn't make much sense, but this got luckily fixed in the latest versions, enabling me to use a phablet to control the fires.
