App permissions

The Official SANFL App 4.8.13 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an application to write the user's calendar data.

Allows an application to read the user's calendar data.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

2 ★ Does not work over Wi-Fi. Need to turn it off to use the app. Strange.

1 ★ Absolute garbage Digital pass does not work, money wasted. Screw the sanfl

1 ★ This app is hopeless. The match replays keep jamming. 5 seconds play then you wait a minute before the screen unfreezes - for another 5 seconds of play. The SANFL are a bunch of tight-arses. You can't even watch the replays later, unless you actually pay the $49. At least with the expanded VFL (the so-called ÀFL) app they give you the replays free (despite incessant sportsbet adds)!

1 ★ User unfriendly, crashes often, impossible to navigate.

5 ★ Patently obvious from all the very negative comments and poor reviews that this 'app' is a disgrace for an organisation for 144 years (that's right since 1877). Not one reply, comment or apology from SANFL. The staff probably don't even look at it or review it. Management from 1877 would have more care and knowledge (even in IT) than the current mob of rejects from the clubs that have been palmed off to (and hidden in) the SANFL headquarters (which is run like a sheltered workshop).

3 ★ It not bad but should have the option to cast to my TV so I can watch on a big screen not just my phone

2 ★ I'd like it if told you If it's on Game of the day on 7 or which radio station I understand you have to make money be good if was user friendly

5 ★ The S.A.N.F.L app is very easy to use and I like using the app. The only bad thing that sometimes when I go to open the app it crashes but it's still good enough for 5 stars

1 ★ This and the WAFL app are the worst I've ever used. Take ages to open, can't close them, can't go back and they keep closing. Clearly done by the same mob. Get your act together!

2 ★ It worked perfectly last season, but the latest update only gives scores and quarter by quarter or player stats. What has happened? I uninstalled then reinstalled, but no change.
