Ratings and Reviews

3 ★ While pretty thorough in most areas, there seems to be no symptom in the list to choose for a slow, hard-pounding heart. If I select "pounding heart" from the search results, it translates it to palpitations, which really isn't the same thing. I've experienced both in my life many times and selecting palpitations can tamper with a potentially accurate result.

2 ★ BUGGY. I tried to get a prescription but the doctor assumed i was not available and left because the two messages I sent randomly disappeared? I then went to go rate the service and it had an option to type it. Anytime besides talking to a doctor the app will not allow me to send. It gives no reason, it just makes the outline of the box red. I reduced the text and the same thing happened. Closed it out and opened it back up still the same. The only option that works is the skip button.

1 ★ The way the app implements menu interactions, particularly when scrolling through the selections like adding a birth date or selecting a state, you highlight what you want but it registers the next choice. It messed up my date of birth, and I selected my state but it registered the next one in line. So it seeked out doctors in the wrong state and the app doesn't let you go back and change your state choice. Chat interface is terrible. The selectors are terrible. This app needs a new layout.

1 ★ The onboarding process is absolute trash. Requesting an appointment requires that you use an "AI powered" intake form, that takes an incredibly long time to fill out, and removes a number of choices and options that are clinically important. I've used many telehealth apps, and this is the worst one. It was also the worst telehealth experience I've had with a doctor, who I suspect was relying on an "AI" to answer questions or had just suffered head trauma.

1 ★ Update: I had already reviewed the service as 1 star, but somehow that have managed to get worse. They just more that doubled their price without adding anything. Their app still barely works, and the service you get is as bad as ever. At their new rate of $348 per year (if you already paid) or 588 per year for new users it's actually cheaper to to do a doctor. I had been thinking about canceling because of the bad experience getting refills each month, thanks for making it easy for me.

2 ★ The app itself sucks and is highly unintuitive. The pick lists don't work - I will very deliberately make a selection but on the resulting screen it will show a selection other than what I chose (for example state, birth date). Worse, there doesn't seem to be a way to change them after the selection is registered. It'll ask you questions and only give you "yes/no" reply options. It's lacking an "I don't know" option, which is highly relevant. Few fields let you correct responses.

1 ★ The App itself has an issue with verifying emails. Not sure if this is what caused our issues. AI portion completed and submitted, and then nothing else happened on the app side. I called customer service and spoke with Alexis twice (she was very nice and helpful) to make sure there wasn't anything going on. On her end, it looked like everything was fine and I was in VIP but I was never contacted via the app or notified via the app. Approximately 3 hours in total before asking for a refund.

4 ★ The app has some good qualities though there are times when i go to talk to a doctor and the screen goes blue and nothing pops up for a good while. It also said i had post concussion syndrome or something of that sort but i never even clicked anything that would indicate that i was just looking for results on my acne. So some good and bad that comes with the app because it is easy to use and i did get some good results in my other searches. It just has some bugs to it

4 ★ It's fairly simple to use, although kind of annoying that I can't set up multiple profiles (especially since the ad showed a woman handing her phone over to her boyfriend, so technically he would've gotten a "diagnosis" based on her background; kinda misleading, honestly). The list of symptoms could also be fleshed out more; bruising is not an available symptom, which strikes me as odd. I do like that I can put in my health background and medications; the other symptom checking app I'd used recently, Ada, doesn't have that option. Overall, it's got potential, but it's not quite there yet. I'm interested in checking out future updates!

4 ★ This is a great app if you want to try and pinpoint what exactly may be wrong health wise. The AI isn't necessarily perfect, but for the most part, it's at least 80% accurate. As for the contacting a doctor part of this app; while this is a great way to ensure someone without insurance has access to a doctor, I personally don't trust the app in its current state. When the bugs surrounding double charging and disconnecting are removed, I believe this can be a very medically reliable app.

5 ★ I rarely leave reviews but this app has so many mixed reviews i wanted to add mine. I think it worked great! I was able to log on and get the help I needed. It was a bit slower than going to a regular dr or doing a telehealth visit but texting is usually a slower way of communicating. Had very few issues and if I did have an issue I only had to leave the app and come back in. Great way to get help without really talking to anyone face to face.

4 ★ Good app, snappy UI, and a cool idea with the matching symptoms, but - I ran into a glitch where on my first run through I was not given an option to speak with a doctor. Was difficult to find the support phone line (it's only in your bill). Would give only 3 stars for the frustration this caused me especially because the point is to make things easier. Fortunately the rep was professional and seemed technical + motivated to help, and the doctor was straight forward and consise, so 4 stars.

5 ★ So far this app is pretty accurate but as a test, I tossed in the symptoms that I'm getting from a medication to see if it could pick up on that. it didn't. I definitely suggest adding medication side effects, as well. Something as simple as decreased appetite and dehydration pointed me to gastrointestinal problems when really it's just from my medication. All in all, great app!

2 ★ I will give it 2 stars because it's nice to have in a pinch. I rarely even seek medical treatment and it's hard to get an appointment at the VA where I go. You can also cancel and resubscribe when you need to. So basically I pay for the whole month when I literally need one visit. That being said they have more than doubled their monthly price and they bill 3 months at a time. No. I will be looking elsewhere for telehealth appointments.

3 ★ I personally was unable to use this app to speak to a doctor. I apparently had more than one account so my verification was failing. However, support was amazing. I only wanted the app for antibiotics from a small ailment, so I paid for a one-time visit. When my account was unable to be verified, I contacted support to figure out the problem (and then eventually get a refund). They replied and resolved the problem and issued a refund in only a day.
