5 ★ Clean cars, easy to use the app and a great range of models to choose from. I faced some issues and were always solved within minutes by the customer service team who has always been patient and understanding. So far, very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend.
1 ★ Very very bad experience. They will deduct indefinite charges to your account. I have booked for one day and it cost me 245 aed. Earlier it was mentioned 149. Not recommend at all. it is better to go for rent a car than these blood sucking companies just recently opened. I will delete this app without any single positive thought about this company. Worst experience
1 ★ I tried this service for the first time ever to go from sharjah to dubai, at first I was happy when I saw the trip amount was like 45dhs, if I took a taxi it would be like 100dhs, but then I got another invoice with 250dhs and it said that I made a violation because I shouldn't take the car from sharjah to dubai. This information is hidden deep on the website (not even the app itself) in hopes that u never find it. Shame on you this is same as scam. You have been reported to consumer rights
1 ★ Disgraceful, utterly disappointing & worst of customer service experience. When I called-in to raise a concern your employeed representative on the other side of the phone had least of understanding, courtesy, etiquettes or seems he wasn't either trained on these human factors. Remember if you can't add value to market you don't deserve to exist, most of all "Teach your employees or yourself that you owe respect to your fellow human beings period. Rest assured you lost a customer & much more.
5 ★ I don't know my app keeps on loading and not working. Tried uninstalling and installing again same problem for more than 4 to 5 days. Update: Issue resolved alhumdulilah. I feel happy with the ekar team assistance on the subject.
1 ★ Extremely expensive. Long term rental gives zero benefits. ekar limits the mileage to 100kms a day..that is barely anything, plus we need to put fuel and parking and salil, and pay for cleaning, gateway, overmilage like 1 AED per km. Super expensive.. not recommended
1 ★ Worst customer service where our calls will be queue for morethan 15 mins. Lots of hidden charges, specifically around the insurance, there is an insurance admin fee of AED 3000, if you are the liable party, then you need to pay AED 3000 no mater how small the damage will be. A scratch or dent would cost you AED 3000. All they say, it is in T&Cs, but they don't understand how reasonable it is. I would request the Regulators to audit & help customers from getting out of this organised loot.
1 ★ Tried to register and my Dubai license was rejected because it's less than 6 months old. I was asked for other driving licenses so I provided ones from Egypt and Saudi. Been driving for 10 yrs. I was asked for a "smart card license", whatever that is. None of those countries nor even Dubai issue a license with a smart card and I don't know what use it is if we're using email to send them in. No response from their support after multiple attempts to understand through WhatsApp and email.

1 ★ They know nobody reads that lengthy terms and condition.but instead of puting a warning to put on the app while booking they keep silent until you make the mistake and charge you accordingly. If ekar is genuine to its customers they can easily put a pop up warning on DOs And Donts On The App While Booking. But They Dont Want To Do That Coz They Want To Rip You. FYI I Was Charged Or Penalized AED250 For Parking In Different Emirates Which I Have No Idea Of.
1 ★ Very bad experience and the app does not worth it, they deduct money for no reason. The leader ship in the call centre will refuse to talk to you or help you when you have a problem and they don't even listen to you. Tried to take thier cars and they had problems with the cars, the first is GPS and the second engine problem and i got so delayed for my appointment
1 ★ The app worked only for registration then It didn't work again. I deleted the app the re-download still the same.
1 ★ I booked a car for PPM with a notification that If I use the car for more than 6 hours I will be charged a daily rental. I used the car more than 24 hours because they did not have a parking facility in DIP area "WHERE I PICKED THE CAR FROM". For 2 days the following are the charges 1) 1st day Daily rental - 202.5 2) 2nd day daily rental - 202.5 3)Delayed usage fee - 307.5 4)Delayed usage fee- 302.5 Total = 1,015 for a Total usage 200km, Very Very disappointing. You have zero customer value!
1 ★ DO NOT USE EKAR....UDrive is a much better option ...To save a few bucks, you loose way much more... Absolutely NOT WORTH it.... PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AROUND....!! The fine of AED200 was issued at 10.15pm.... I reserved bEKAR until 07.15pm...My credit card was charged the AED 200 fine even when EKAR will be paying AED150( as early fees) ..... So EKAR pockets AED 50.... And ofcourse for all the reviews, they have some excuses or another.... PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AROUND.... DO NOT USE bEKAR...
1 ★ I am covid positive for first time. Ekar is the only place where I pulled down the mask in last week. While I should have been careful, curious to know what does the cleaning charges in my bill do the purpose? What frequency the cleaning and disinfection happens? Car does not display when was it last disinfected. Do not trust anymore.
