Motivation
With the prevalence of smart phones and use of VoIP applications, it has become a common trend for Ethiopians living abroad to talk to their loved ones over internet phones. It is a personal experience to many in the diaspora that the person they were talking to run out of balance and call was disconnected. Such a frustrating thing ,and if you had this experience , you might have wished if you could quickly recharge the balance of the person you were talking to. This experience was the motivation that lead to the conception of Awera.

1 ★ The thieves of thief!I think The ETHIOPIAN diaspora are becoming foolish with this crap app! The developer is An ignorant Banda. This App from the Ethio-telecom which is designed to one way of robbering money from the diaspora group. I kindly ask OMG don't waste your money for bandits. You sell your dollars to Bandas, Then they transfer the Ethiopian birr to your family. This trade in which you sell your money for this developer, is available for bleedings the civilians; or for the Murder of Ethiopians!!!
3 ★ It is an interesting app but 20% transaction cost is too much. It is a rip off. 100Birr for 6USD was what I paid. My first and last transaction unfortunately.
2 ★ I did all the necessary steps but the app is not processing the payment. I emailed the Awera developers, but they didn't reply. I thought It was a good app though
2 ★ It can be installed. But it's crashing lot of times. It's saying unexpected stopping while am trying opening it.
