3 ★ Always seems to update and disable the firmware when I need it and don't have access to wifi. Would rate it much higher if they had a way to do updates that didn't disable the device in the process. Updated my review because this issue still exists. Updates still render the app useless at times when I need it the most. Works great when it's working. Unfortunately it's usually not working.
3 ★ It works brilliantly. When it works. I've seen 2 firmware updates install on Bluetooth ODBII, connector for which I installed this app ,that I had hoped would fix the issue it didn't. The app hasn't glitched once thou the threshold for when vehicles stopped should be tightened, it must be sloppy GPS data. So in short app is great 👍 but the connector I've got from same manufacturer doesn't connect to my car at times, and I've done all the troubleshooting they've suggested. I just want a reliable
5 ★ Just bought a Hertz Nissan awhile back. Unfortunately, the little screen that shows the odometer , trip and fuel went out on me. Since its not powertrain and considered "electrical" my 12k car was going to cost probably 800 ish bucks to get fixed. So, i said to myself, "what the hay, I'll just make the inside of my car look like a tesla." I got myself a a swivel frame, a computer screen and this device and app. And guess what? It works great. If i could change the backround on it tho would be6*
2 ★ Edit- useless app. Free apps do the same stuff that this asks money for. Not great but ok. It will clear engine codes which is useless to me. It won't read my tire pressure nor does it let me change variables such as delay time for headlights. Other apps do both so I know it's possible. I even paid extra and saw no improvement.
5 ★ Great literally has saved me enough money the 1st time I used it to buy it 14 times over. I was told I was gonna need to pay $1400 for a active exhaust module turns out the harness just broke I bought it from Mopar for 40 bucks and simply follow the old one to hook up the new 1 myself reset the manufacturers indicator lamp and Have not only had no issues but past admissions worth every bit of the $90 I paid for the reader and if it ever breaks out by another love it.
3 ★ Hard to connect at times. Will not let you register the device. Have to spend more money to get other downloads to change parameters.
3 ★ The app hasn't changed much in years and is missing the vehicle data on a lot of cars. (EG Newer Cadillac Models) So, there really is no point in buying the dealer specific codes if I can't select my make and model. Helpful if you need to clear engine codes for troubleshooting or smog and that's it.
1 ★ Unable to register. App says I don't have internet connection but app browses and verifies firmware updates are available. So far, this is worthless.
5 ★ I can't believe how much data I can access and how powerful this app is. It's incredible for the price of the hardware and free software. I'm thoroughly impressed.
5 ★ Great application for diagnosing your car. Once you buy the enhanced portion, it gets even better. I use it for monitoring various parameters on my tuned Mazdaspeed. Works great!
5 ★ Works great, enhanced diagnostics for all networks on my Toyota. Helped solve issues with ABS, TPMS and check engine. Highly recommend.
1 ★ After successfully funding this kickstarter, why should I pay $10 extra for add-ons per vehicle? Get the usb ex open source version. Mx wifi is a garbage unit that eventually worked again after stopping for many years, no explanation except app.
5 ★ Diagnosis at home too easy, this unit i bought the Obdlink mx+ is awesome tells you everything there is to know clear your codes, see codes your car has thrown historically (in the past) plus let's your read sensors in real time, hp torque etc etc
1 ★ Can't even use this app with their scanner, Bluetooth LX. It keep timing out while trying to connect. Waste of money and time.
3 ★ Hi I like the app but the Nissan cars not getting connected am from Trinidad an I ask someone to buy it for me we mostly use Nissan but only some car can't get tida only some Almera no bluebird so please look in to it outside of that it works great
