The advanced features included in this version are:
• Composite Triggers - use more than a single trigger for each rule using AND/OR logic between these triggers
• Composite Action - execute several actions as a result of a single trigger (which can be a composite trigger)
• Rule Active Period - set an active period for each rule. Really useful if you only want a certain rule to be active only during daytime, weekends, just an hour a day etc.
• Sensor Trigger - utilize all your device' sensors as a trigger for a desired action. This includes usage of all the sensors supported by Android - Accelerometer, Light, Proximity etc.
• Calendar Trigger - monitor events on your different calendars
• Enable/Disable Screen Lock Action - Enables or disables your screen lock slide/pattern/password/pin
• Cancel delayed execution by trigger - Auto-cancel delayed execution when defined trigger is launched

2 ★ Used to be good but now at least half the actions don't even work anymore. Devs didn't bother updating the app and plugins for Android 10.

3 ★ Bought this app based on its ability to review "your various calendar" apps to silence my phone during meetings. I was still getting interrupted during meetings and even though I requested notices when an event was to be invoked, I started monitoring and noticed the event never triggered such events. Only to be told after the fact that outlook was not monitored. Oh Well!
3 ★ I have been using automateit pro for years now. I was wondering if there is away to turn android work profile on and off as one of the actions . I hope I get a response from . Otherwise it's a nice app helps manage your life in a smart way. it definitely needs to more user friendly from simple Android users .
4 ★ For the people who've updated to Android 9 (Pie), in order to get the app to start working again you need to re-enable AutomateIt's ability to access Notifications. For example, on the Galaxy S10/10e you need to go into the "Settings" for the phone, then go into "Apps", and click on the three vertical dots to open the secondary menu. From there click "Special Access", then "Notification Access", and finally turn on the slide switch for AutomateIt. Reboot your phone and the app and your rules should be working normally again. I noticed that any Time-Based phone-silencing triggers just actives the phone's "Do Not Disturb" mode now instead of toggling the setting directly.
3 ★ Does most of what I need/want it to do. Found a couple issues with it. I have emailed the developers twice and never got a reply. If you play a sound, it won't play through a bluetooth speaker like other automation apps. Second, you can't stop said sound. You have to force stop the entire app. It places nothing in the notification bar to easily stop it.
2 ★ I am changing my rating. I have been using this app for a few years without any issues but lately this app has not been performing. The rules are not triggering at the times set or they don't trigger at all. I have the volume set to increase at a certain time, that doesn't work anymore. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but that hadn't fixed the problem.
1 ★ This app was great and I used it for several years, even bought the paid version. However, over the past couple months, it stopped working. My scheduled time triggers would go off at the wrong time and sometimes not at all. I'm not sure if a recent android update caused this, but this app is no longer useful at all. I contacted the developer, but got no reply.
1 ★ Tried the app (with the free variant) before my purchase and it worked fine. After that I set up my phone with lineage os and installed AutomateIt just to realize some triggers won't work, e.g. cell trigger, connected to specific SSID. I already contacted the developer via the displayed mail-address but received no response at all. My main reasons for the purchase were exactly the above mentioned triggers, so the app is kinda useless for me right now.
5 ★ After an automatic update of this app, most of my rules that require permissions started failing. I found that if I edited one of the failing rules by changing any parameter, saving, edit and change tha parameter back to it's original state and again saving, the rule again worked. Interestingly enough, all other failing rules began working automatically after the single edit to the first rule! Been using this app for a few years, love it! Don't like the devs silence on the issue tho...
